Sunny Days
A poem about the sun and how you should take advantage of a perfect sunny day.
Do you enjoy the sun around you?
It may be hot
Or just right
It could be scorching down on you
A brightening haze upon your soul.
A holiday in the sun
Sunbathing on the sand
Relaxing as you tan
An uplifting time for fun
For laughter, happiness, and love.
Constant sunny days upon us
Overpowering and tiresome we feel
To endure it for months on end
Living with it every day
A scorcher and ablaze
A dry dangerous phase for our lands.
Sometimes a luxury
Seeing the sun on a winter’s day
A desire that is craved
A bright glowing around you
Energy and an uplifting feel
That you never thought possible.
Take the opportunity
Sit in it for a while
Or take a walk in the brightening glow
As you feel the flow of the hazy heat.
Benefit from the sun
When feeling down
The sun has come out
To bring us light and harmony.
Let the feel of it calm your bones
Bringing peace and delight
And a smile
Each and every day.
